New Scrap desk and crayon organization...

Hey there everyone!  I am so excited about the new thing I figured out for holding all of my various types of crayons!  I've been spending HOURS searching the web for the perfect crayon organizing system; and nothing seemed just right.  I wanted something that would condense the amount of room the containers take up on my desk, and that would keep them all right out in front of me, so I could see the colors.  There are lots of cute options out there, but I couldn't find any that would hold enough crayons, and on top of that, they were expensive.  All of a sudden it dawned on me!  Why not try using one of my extra embellishment organizers?!!!

So, I pulled one of these out, cut off the lid, and look how great it works - EEK...!

It makes me happy just to look at all of that color!  In the back are my beloved neocolor II water-soluble crayons, along with a few gelatos and shiva paintsticks on the right.  In front of that is my set of craypas oil crayons on the left, and a whole set of 96 crayola crayons on the right.  The front row may eventually have more crayons of some sort, but for now I added in some of my favorite washi tapes.  This takes up so much less room than all of the individual containers did!

That motivated me to re-organize my whole scrapdesk!  Check it out...

On the far left (in the orange bucket) are my newest scrappy papers and products.  I like to keep them out and handy for awhile before I store them with the rest of my stash.  All of my coloring and journaling pens and markers are in the middle there, and off towards the right is my project life stuff.  My current daily journals are in the middle.

Here's a closer view of the right side...
The tin under the pink and green washi tapes is another alphabet set from Graphic 45.  The lunchbox under that contains my hand carved stamps.

Here's a closeup of how I store my colored pencils...
It's an old squirt six-pack holder, and it holds an amazing amount of pencils!

My journaling pens are kept in an old Stampin' Up marker holder, and my little collection of Flairs are in a jelly jar...

I find that when my brain gets cluttered, the best thing I can do is organize my room, and my supplies!  It helps every time!

Thanks so much for visiting and I will see you again soon!
